Realizing that access to accurate and timely information is essential to the health of democracy and to facilitate the citizens to make informed electoral choices besides keeping a check on the functioning of their elected representatives and the government. The Centre for Civic Education Pakistan has planned to launch a dedicated news-feature service Citizens Wire to offer interpretative and explanatory information about the Constitution, election laws, rules and framework, and major constitutional reports.
In this regard a launching ceremony has been arranged on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Islamabad Hotel, Islamabad. We will be honoured if you can join us on this occasion as our revered guest at 3:00 p.m.
We hope our modest effort will support and strengthen electoral processes and democratic development in Pakistan.
